Railing berms and crushing technical climbs usually don’t fall under the same type of fun, but when we’re riding the Ibis Ripmo, we have the confidence to tackle any trail. The carbon frame construction 147mm of supportive DW-Link rear travel gives us a platform that doesn’t punish us for pushing hard on the climbs and is bolstered by long, slacked-out geometry for ripping descents filled with rocks, drops, and more. The 64.9-degree head tube angle and 29-inch wheels give the Ripmo some extra stability at speed, and a 160mm fork begs us to go send that big drop we’ve been eyeing all season long.

The Ibis Ripmo XT Logo Carbon Wheel kit pairs the time-tested Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain with premium Fox Factory-level suspension and Ibis Logo carbon wheels for a build that will carry us through season after season of trail rides with the crew, bike park days, and enduro racing. The Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain gives us smooth, reliable shifting and a wide-range cassette so we can keep rolling no matter how steep the trail gets. Fox Factory 38 takes care of the front suspension duties with 160mm of tech-smashing travel and burley 38mm stanchions for extra torsional stiffness so we’re not getting bucked around in gnarly rock gardens. A set of Ibis carbon wheels are laced up to their reliable Logo hubs and outfitted with Maxxis Assegai rubber to keep us rolling over just about any obstacle we find along our way. And if we find ourselves needing different amounts of traction for different trail styles or races, the Ripmo has room for up to 29 x 2.5-inch tires so we can customize our grip.
