The Ibex Men's Woolies 1 Stripe Bottom is so warm and cozy that you’ll never want to take it off. The next-to-skin fit has smooth flatlock seams and a gusseted crotch, and it’s crafted from a soft and breathable merino wool blend. This naturally wicks away moisture while fighting bacteria and odors, so you have comfort as you cross country ski, hike, or relax in front of the fireplace.

I bought these for my husband and this is what he had to say:
"These are the perfect lightweight layer for everything from high aerobic output activities to throwing on under a pair of jeans (on an extra cold day), or just for wearing to bed. I wouldn't wear them as a stand-alone layer in crazy cold scenarios but that's not to say they won't serve you well on your cold-weather camping trip-- as long as you can throw an extra layer atop them, then you'll be good to go.
They're not so tight that they're restrictive-- which means that they won't annoy you or your.. er, "jazz" throughout the day, they move well and the gusseted crotch is fantastic. At this price point you won't be able to find any other 100% wool layers from most other companies, and the stripes are a fun deviation from all of my other black layers.
Due to how well they wick and how quickly they dry, as well the fact that they won't stretch out to the point of being useless, and their natural antimicrobial tendencies, they're all I've needed on extended trips (well, the Woolies 1 layered atop the Ibex boxer briefs). They're also durable enough to hold up well for the long haul, buuuuut unfortunately I put a hole in the left thigh of mine and as long as I don't put my foot through them when I put them on the hole hasn't grown at all.
