Great for ski touring
My husband and I are using these paired with the Seeker 2L reservoir for ski touring. Since the hose is attached to the water reservoir from the top, it is much easier to clear the hose to keep it from freezing. I love how lightweight the reservoir is, and how small it packs down.

A must for Seeker water bladder
Bought this add-on for a 2L collapsable water bag. It worked perfectly with no leaks allowing me to put the water bottle into a Columbia back pack water reservoir holder. I used the kit over 3 days of 10+mile hikes at Yosemite National Park. It worked great with all the elevation changes and kept appropriate pressure so the bite valve delivered water without having to suck it from the bottom of the reservoir.

Good option with considerations
I love that this kit is available for the sake of versatility, but consider before you purchase that when the Seeker is oriented with the opening down (so that gravity assists in using the hydration kit), the hose may kink if it is then routed back upward, due to the fact that it’s positioned on the bottom instead of the side of the bag. I found you CAN drink through it with the opening pointed up if excess air is purged, but it definitely requires a greater effort. The plastic cap feels a bit cheap, but so far it hasn’t broken and the price is right.

Finally, No More O'Rings
This is the design I have been wanting to see for a very long time. I always used CamelBak reservoirs with a fixed tube design and never had any failures. And then, the quick disconnect fitting was engineered into all of the reservoirs on the market. I eventually replaced my older reservoirs and was immediately concerned when I started disconnecting tubes from the reservoirs. The mouth pieces on all the hoses have become larger as well so disconnecting the tube is mandatory in order to pull the small end of the hose through the tiny opening in the packs. I used my hydration systems a couple time per week and o'ring failures started to occur, not just with Camelbak, but with all the brands. This new design by Hydropak allows me to connect a hose to the top of the seeker reservoir and eliminates point-of-failure concerns with an o'ring connection.
