Just don't lasso a manatee.
Cowboys like swimming too, so that's why Howler Brothers designed the Men's Vaquero Board Short. Designed with patterns reminiscent of long cattle drives and quick-drying fabric, the Vaquero is perhaps more appropriate for wrangling waves than bewildered bovine, but that's the point. Made from a synthetic blend, they'll readily transition from water to sand—or cow pasture.
- Western-themed board shorts for wrangling waves
- Polyester microfiber dries out quick
- Pearl snap pocket keeps valuables secure
- Drawstring closure for snug fit
- Item #HBR0034

BEST board short I've got
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 35
- Height: 6'2"
- Weight: 205lbs
Yeah they're snug and short but the design is so brotastic, that if they weren't, you would look like a jerk. I've looked high and low for a short that is both rad and not ridiculously baggy and long. finally found it. If i could have this short in like 3 other colors I would totally spring for it. just saying.
Make you look cooler than you are!
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: 32
- Height: 5'6"
- Weight: 161lbs
These are probably my new favorite board shorts! Super rad design and perfect length! According to other reviews they were snug so I ordered a size up which was smart. Even a size up was still a bit tight but once they get wet they expand quite a bit so tie 'em tight!

High quality shorts. Very comfortable. The material isn't stretchy, but there is some give and it's soft to the touch. I have't used these a ton, but they feel quite durable. My favorite feature is the button on the back pocket, which has the Howler Bro's monkey face on it.
Size-wise, I got 32 (I normally wear 32's in pants/shorts). For these I definitely need a 34 or maybe even a 35. They are also quite short. I measured the inseam at just over 6 inches.
