Poor quality, worse service

Bought a pair of these for my husband last May. He didn't start wearing them until this winter and not that much. The fabric is pulling away from the stitching in a couple places. When I contacted Holden, here's what they said: "I am sorry to say as you will need to contact Backcountry for either a refund or replacement. We no longer carry nor manufacture the style you have so we are not able to replace it. If you contact BC, they should be able to assist you with either a replacement or refund as we do not have the funds from your order to refund you." Basically, "too bad, we don't stand behind our products, but we hope the retailer does." Unreal.
