    Corkshell Summit jacket

Midwinter blizzards and wet spring storms alike are no match for the waterproof and breathable Holden Corkshell Jacket. This jacket is constructed with a Schoeller Corkshell 4-way stretch fabric with an adaptable membrane that is sealed at the seams to create a flexible and weatherproof layer that will keep you dry all day long. The built in membrane traps heat when you need it and allows you to breathe when you start working up a sweat, while the large pit-zips the remainder of that built up heat. Finally this jacket comes packed with all of the extras you didn't know you needed including a plethora of pockets, removable powder skirt, two-way adjustable hood, and ultra soft wrist gaiters.

    • Technical shell for days spent in the alpine skiing and snowboarding
    • Corkshell fabric repels wind and water to keep you comfortable
    • Membrane lets you breathe while you move, and traps heat when cold
    • Underarm vents dump excess heat on the skin track or boot pack
    • Fully taped seams keep you drys even during wet snows
    • Magnet pocket closure keep your good where you left them
    • Item #HOL007B

Due to my familiarity with the Schoeller brand I was very interested in trying out this jacket. I was able to use a sample jacket on a split-boarding trip I took in March. The first thing you immediately notice is the amount of stretch the fabric has, it's mind blowing! Secondly, it's very light and hangs on the body very well, not as rigid as other technical jackets I own. What I was most impressed with is the fact that it's a shell, but with the Corkshell it kept me very warm with the minimal layering I had on that day. I have since purchased my own and can't wait to use it this winter! Truth be told, I feel confident it'll be a solid 3 season jacket. Considering the pants as well

I have been a holden fan for years, but also looking for a more technical jacket to get for a few years. I owned a Holden jacket made with Schoeller fabric from a few years back. I rode it in the rain in PDX as a bike messenger and used it at Mt Baker as well on the best/ worst days. The new piece feels like a great replacement so far... This jacket is Gore-TEX Pro level but also super quiet/not-crunchy and very stretchy... Feels like rubber band. Been testing it around town with what to start layering with as well, as they say the Corkshell backer adds insulation/ warmth to a shell. So far its been definitely warmer than my other shells. Stoked to try it more in the winter and wet.
