Poor quality
The laces snapped (just from pulling them tight) after < 50 miles of use. The sides are starting to peel as well. Expected more for the price of the shoe.

Defective?
I've had other Hoka shoes before that typically last 12 months. After two months of light use (no running) but gym workouts and some light hiking, the bottoms are peeling off these at both the heel and toe. I don't know if I got a defective pair or if the glue is bad or something? Would not recommend.

ok, but not the best HOKA product
These are still comfortable but not as great as other HOKA trail shoes I've tried.

Best trail runner I've ever had!
I use this shoe on midwest US trails, desert trails, and even hiking. It works great for all of it. No blisters, laces stay tied, enough room for my toes and they clean up easily also. I liked them so much I bought another pair before my first pair wore out. I would have bought more if there had been more in my size!

Second pair different color
Hesitant at first cos I have problem with my aching feet no matter it's super expensive nor cheap still hurts after walking.Bought my first Hoka pair (kinda doubtful cos it's terrain shoes).Now I want to have a second pair cos it's a keeper.No knee pains ad feet pain

My favorite hybrid
I'm a trail runner in WA State which means trails are slick and muddy most of the winter. The traction is great on these but they also do good on roads and for speed work. I have relatively normal/thin width feet which tends to work well with Hoka. My husband has wide feet and doesn't love these. These are a great step down from the Speed goats but still enough padding under your feet for rocks or long distance pains.
