HOKA ONE ONE's maximal cushioning is as recognizable as other shoes' swoops and stripes, but it actually serves a purpose: keeping your feet comfortable. That's why HOKA's used its signature design in the Tor Summit WP Men's Hiking Shoe. It has 30mm of heel cushioning and 26mm of forefoot cushioning, so sharp rocks and big boulders won't bash your toes, and an EVA-topped RMAT midsole that provides all-day comfort for day hikers of all stripes. HOKA also endowed the Tor with its famous late-stage Meta-Rocker geometry for a smooth ride and easy foot roll, then finished things off with a sticky Vibram MegaGrip sole that helps you make short work of alpine scree, lowland mud, and everything in between.

I would not buy this again
Bought these for wearing in Alaska, mostly in shoulder seasons May/June, September/October. The construction held up fine, and they were comfortable, but when I wear in wet weather there is NO waterproofing that I can detect. They are absolutely soaking wet and heavy. It takes several days to dry them out. Very disappointing!!

Best shoes I've ever owned. Trying to buy a 3rd pair...
These are my go-to casual shoes. I have really bad knees and the cushioning from these makes a long day of walking bearable. Praying they bring them back...

Best hiking shoes I've ever owned. Buying a backup pair.
I have foot and toe injuries that have always made hiking painful. These shoes changed my life. I feel like I am walking on a cloud when I am out on the trail. Roomie, supportive and comfortable. The best shoes I have ever had. I will be buying a back up pair.

The PERFECT shoe -- EXCEPT...
I love everything about these shoes, EXCEPT they don't come in a wide (yet?). I've tried a lot of other shoes (including Hokas) and nothing works as well for my moderate plantar fasciitis and metatarsalgia as these. However, they squeeze across the ball of my foot -- not noticeable at first, but when I wear them for a day or so they start causing a "bunionette" on one foot (the little toe metatarsal joint actually protrudes slightly downward after I take them off. Excellent comfort in every other respect.

Shoe is so good I bought a second pair!
Great shoe for walking. Seems the longer I have them the more comfortable they become.

Great, durable boots.
Good boots for going outdoors when the weather is not great. Nice and comfortable and built to last.

I have very hard to fit feet, long and narrow.
With long narrow feet I find Hokas work for me. They are the only shoe I have found that offers half sizes(12.5). They are a bit wide but after installing orthopedics, the width narrows enough for a comfortable fit. I have been wearing Hoka hiker style and running shoes primarily for an arthritic toe. The stiffer sole and cushion afford a comfortable experience.

This is my 4th pair and the only shoes I wear.
This is the best shoe for the neuropathy in my feet.
