The top of the mountain just got a little closer.

Lace up the lightweight, ultra-cushioned Hoka One One Women's Tor Summit Mid WP Hiking Boots before your next mountainous endeavor and you'll be up and down before feeling a thing. Equipped with a nubuck and suede leather upper, and with a waterproof Event membrane, these boots are highly durable and built to keep your feet comfortably dry through rainstorms and slushy passes alike. The blend of RMAT and EVA materials in the midsole provide the perfect combination of cushioning and support, while the late stage meta-rocker geometry delivers an insanely smooth ride. When the going gets slick underfoot, the Vibram MegaGrip rubber outsole with 5mm traction lugs grip wet rocks and roots to prevent slippage on the trail.

    The Greatest!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 8

These shoes are the equivalent to walking on clouds. You can use them for walking in town or you can walk the SHT in them. The wide bottoms allow for a stable step no matter the terrain. Also, the no-slip grips allows for the mind to be at ease with every step.

    Sweet Fit!

I bought these Hoka One One Mid Trekkers for my wife. She complains that she doesn’t have as much padding on the balls of her feet as she used to have and would like more cushioning in her hiking shoes. She has a wide toe box and narrow heel. The Hoka One One is the perfect answer to her problem. The fit seems a bit larger/longer than other brands such as Merrell or La Sportiva. She tried both the low and mid-rise hikers. The low-rise felt too big and there was too much heel lift. With the mid rise, there was no heel lift, and there was plenty of space in the toe box. The tread is beefy and worked well with dirt and scree trails as well as for scrambling over talus and smearing on slabs. Highly recommend as a lightweight, sturdy, and supportive hiking shoe.

Amazing "no break in" hiking boots

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 10

I have always worn Keen boots without major complaints, or excitement. After an ankle injury, I started wearing Hoka running shoes daily to recover. Soon I was back up to speed clocking in 13,000 steps a day walking but still wished I had more comfort in my hiking boots without sacrificing ankle support. I bought these boots before a trip to Iceland and wore them everyday without breaking them in. I felt like I was walking on a cloud! I just bought a "back up" pair in case they ever get discontinued.

    Love these boots!!!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love these boots. Hiked about 5 miles of rocky mountain steep terrain right out of the box and they were perfect! super comfy , I did not slip once on the scree, did not feel rocks underfoot. no slippage at all. I really liked the mid ankle support which can be kept loose for going uphill and tightened for downhill. ( I also bought the Tor Ultra Hi but am returning them because they came up too hi and rubbed)
I have a few foot issues, high arch, planter fasciitis and these boots were amazing. I did put my own insole in . True to size. No break in period required.

Incredibly comfortable AND GREAT no slip

True size - perfect for wider foot - have high arch but foot well supported. Incredibly comfortable shoe. Ankle support great. LOVE THESE SHOES - have bought 3 pairs.

    Hoka Hiking Power

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 8.5

This is what my wife has to say: These are my go to hiking shoes. I volley between sizes 8.5 to 9, I have these in 8.5 and they're perfect. I bought these for a trip to Europe because I knew we'd be hiking a bunch without much recovery time. They worked great and I still use them all the time. They held up great in the snow we ran into in Switzerland and kept my feet dry. My ankles have bothered me for years, these provided my ankle with great support. I also can get kind of tender footed after a rocky hike, I never have that issue with the Hoka Summit. Great buy!

Great boots, comfortable from day one.

I love these boots, but to be fair I am already a fan of Hoka.

I bought these for a trip and hiked in them every day for a week straight over variable terrain. They kept me dry in boggy areas, stable on scrambles and I did not get a single blister!

They are light, cushioned, and oh so comfortable with the perfect amount of foot and ankle support. The fit is pretty normal, same as other Hokas.
