    Gaviota 2 Running Shoe

Imagine if you were able to take the cloud-nine comfort of your pillow top mattress and combine it with your favorite running shoe. Well, thanks to the Hoka One One Gaviota 2 Running Shoe, you can kiss your dreams goodbye and say hello to a whole new reality of running.

Offering supreme cushion, premium stability, and an all-new engineered mesh upper, the Gaviota 2 is fashioned with Hoka One One's J-Frame technology which guides your foot and lends support (sans that super-stiff sensation). This J-Frame design consists of a thin layer of firm EVA material that connects to the outsole for added support during an overpronator's stride. Additionally, the EVA and RMAT blended midsole assure long-term shock attenuation and durability. The Meta-Rocker technology enables forefoot support, and the moderate heel bevel promotes a smooth transition from heel to toe so you relieve the stability you crave without being restricted by a super-stiff, non-responsive shoe.

    • Premium stability shoe with balanced cushioning for road running
    • 5mm drop is a comfortable height for midfoot and heel strikers
    • Lightweight engineered mesh uppers offer breathability and comfort
    • OrthoLite sockliner provides a comfortable step and precise fit
    • Meta-Rocker technology ensures stability and a smoother toe-off
    • J-Frame delivers support, rebound, and durability as you run
    • Rubber soles provide reliable traction across urban surfaces
    • Item #HOK004Y

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

I was really excited about these shoes since my husband loves his Bondi shoes but they are not working for me. I have a burning sensation and discomfort in the ball of both feet each time I run. Will be going back to my previous go to support shoes.

    So comfortable!

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

I need lots of support and comfort for my feet when running, and these are awesome! The soles are pretty thick, but not overbearing or too heavy when running or walking. I was an Asics wearer for many years but these shoes are my new favs! I got the same size as I always buy in running shoes and they worked great.

    like running on marshmallows

Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

My fiance needed new running shoes so I picked her up a pair of these. She broke them in on a 5k race down Big Cottonwood Canyon. If you've ever run down hill you know it can be tough on the knees, but wearing these she said her knees felt totally fine. There's plenty of cushion in the soles to bolster your strides and help you run for miles. The soles are pretty thick but don't look super bulky like some of Hoka's shoes. She's put quite a few miles on them now and they are still as comfortable as when she got them. Her normal shoe size is a 7.5 and that's what I picked up for her, they fit great.

Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I finally tried these pair of shoes in the right size and since then I have been hooked on hoka one one shoes for running. I need a bit extra support when i run for my joints from the years of beating them down from snowboarding. These are the shoes for that! they are like running on cloud 9, and not heavy at all! They are also great for running on the sides of your feet (over pronation?) which i do and they help with that. Would definitely recommend these shoes! They do run narrow but i went with my normal size shoe and they are great!

    Extremely Comfortable, Size down!

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

Incredibly comfortable, I use these for all workouts and walking around at work. They are super lightweight and feel so good on your feet. They make it easier to stand with good posture. My street shoe is 10.5-11, but the Hokas fit a little big so I went with size 10.0.

    wrong size

Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have heard so much about Hoka One One and so as a road runner wanted to try these out. I loved them and they have great support and cushion but i just couldnt get the size right. Other then that i would recommend these for those with feet issues or just want a great road running shoe. The cushion is what brought me in for someone whose bruised there heel in the past and needs that extra cushion. Great shoe if you can get the size right!
