I bought these to wear at work every day on my farm. The all leather upper makes for a durable all terrain work shoe. Sizing is spot on with other Hokas. They are comfortable and supportive just like you would expect from Hoka. They have good water resistance with the leather upper and goretex liner but are not very breathable. Sole is grippy but not quite as good as vibram. Overall I think these are too heavy for trail running but would be okay if you move slowly. The Hoka Speedgoats are much better suited for fast and light trail running. These are a great option for an every day outdoor shoe for an active individual or as a work shoe for someone like a landscaper or farmer.
