Wanted to love them
TL;DR These were pretty expensive shoes for a mediocre performance. I've worn these shoes through Zion, the Grand Canyon, Acadia, Shenandoah, and countless other amazing parks of all different types of terrain. CONS: the laces / tongue of the shoe have caused bruised ankles and disappointment, unprotected toe box has lead to stubbed toes / black nails when rock scrambling, poor ankle support. PROS: love the look, they are fairly waterproof and are generally easy to clean, ergonomic enough to keep me going for 12+miles with minimal foot fatigue, good grip on dry rocks

Comfy but sizing is weird
The 8.5's were too small and the 9's are a tad too big/wide. They're very comfortable tho- nice quality

absolutely
This is my 3rd pair in nrecent years and I love them. I did make a istake choosing my newest model becasue I have found that the toe area is as felxible as my other 2 pairs were and it is causing prssure on my left toes which is no one's fault but mine. I will be more aware of this whne I order again

Treads fell off within month!
Not kidding. Save your money. I was sooooooooo disappointed. They're all loose around the edge of the shoe. The manufacturer clearly needs a better glue. I haven't even hiked in them.

Great shoe
These shoes are amazing, they feel like you are walking on pillows. I will definitely be purchasing more.

So comfortable
Love! I go hiking a lot and have had blisters and felt rocks threw my old hiking shoes, these are like your walking on a bed.

Not comfratble
The sole is nice and thick, but the sneaker is too heavy. Not great for climbing or descending hills. My feet hurt after wearing them.

Pretty good
First time Hoka buyer. Got these for easy to moderate day hiking in Iceland. I have gone on a couple hikes with them at home and they are stable with good grip. They are warm due to the water resistant material so not great for hot weather. I got a half size up based on the reviews and I'm glad I did they fit well.

Footbed too standard
Hoka shoes aren't for me. I have a narrow foot. These shoes are designed for standards width feet, which today means wide. Like New Balance running shoes Hoka's are too wide and no arch support.
