Some claws for your foot.

Fido might be able to claw up steep, icy hikes, but you would have a slippery time if it weren't for Hillsound's Trail Crampon Pro. With ten carbon steel spikes, this traditional, non-technical crampon assures traction and a lightweight feel specifically designed for winter hiking. The ratchet buckle binding straps firmly to any hiking boot, and the length adjusts simply and securely thanks to the included Allen wrench. Anti-balling plates prevent snow from balling underfoot, and the alpine stopper prevents the ratchet buckle from loosening in deep snow.

  • Traditional crampon for hiking icy trails
  • Steel spikes assure traction on packed snow and ice
  • Anti-balling plates stop snow from balling underfoot

Work great

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Just got back from hiking Mt Whitney in the snow. These worked great for the conditions and my intermediate hiking level. I bought these based on price as I had to buy a lot of gear for the trip; for the price they got me to where I needed to go. I have Keen boots and this design works great with the large Keen toe box. These are easy to put on and take off even with a pack on. My only suggestion to Hillsound is to add a new model similar to this one with larger spikes.

how was the weather up there ? i'm looking at these for my climb in a few weeks!

My go-to for traction on ice, snow, or mud. Perfect for trail and urban settings both.

Cool

Full crampon that fits most any shoe. Great for bringing friends along that don't have mountaineering boots.
