My First Basic Mitten

You don't like cold fingers so you can bet your kiddo isn't very fond of them either. Send her out in the snow with Hestra's Toddlers' My First Basic Mitten and be confident that she won't come in frozen-fingered and crying. With Primaloft insulation, this mitten stays warm even when it gets damp—although, with the waterproof and windproof outer, that won't happen anyways. A hook-and-loop closure locks out snow so your little one can play outside until the sun sets or dinner is ready, whichever comes first.

Work well, but run a bit large

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These worked great for my daughter's first snow adventure. They were a bit finicky to get them to stay on and properly under her jacket so they did fall off a few times, but they were easy enough to get on and off and did keep her hands dry and warm. If you have a toddler you know getting each finger into a glove is a nightmare (her mountain bike gloves make me want to cry) so this mitten comes in clutch.
