Why We Like The Ergo Grip Windstopper Race Glove

For those of us who need top-performing gloves come race day, we keep our hands protected in these warm, windproof gloves from Hestra for chasing PORs on the cross-country ski track. GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER Breeze technology defends against strong gusts of wind trying to penetrate through to our palms, and with the power to stay warm longer, we know we can squeeze in more laps well after the wind dies down.

Look great, not that warm

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These looks and feel great but insulation value is very limited - so my window for use is really above 32F - and this is for a person with warm hands. Then there is the durability issue. Having used these gloves intermittently and mostly for running or buckling my ski boots in the parking lot, they are already coming apart at the stitching. That?s notable and disappointing for an $85/pair gloves
