A base layer that stays dry as you hike, ski, or ride through three feet of blower.

The snow swirls outside your bedroom window and reminds you to get up, put on your Helly Hansen Women's Warm Base Layer Pant, and prepare for another powder day. This two-layer, quick-drying pant wicks your lower half's sweat thanks to the hollow, next-to-skin Lifa fibers. An outer layer of merino wool insulates, manages moisture, and resists accumulating odors while you ski or board all day. To add extra comfort, this tight-fitting pant features flatlock seams and low bulk cuffs to reduce bunching in your boots.

    I didn't take them off for 3 days:p

J/k. But honestly- I did wear them pretty much he first 3 days I owned them and they still smelled fresh out of the package. They have a comfortable stretch, so order them true to size. I usually freeze on the mountain and I can wear these oak one with my snow pants in 10-15 degree weather.

      Warm , dry, and happy.

The combination of LIFA technology and merino wool is akin to the beautiful marriage of peanut butter and jelly. Just like I can ear a pb and j sandwich every day, I wear this baselayer every day. The Lifa synthetic material expels any moisture from my skin which then evaporates from the natural wool fiber. Dry = warm. And comfortable. Often I find myself after a day skiing lounging in them the rest of the day. I am tall, but my legs aren't Heidi Klum length so they are still long enough and not too long for a shorter woman. If it is late spring and I'm going touring, I know I will be sweating to the oldies in which case I might choose a lighter baselayer, but 93%* of the time this is my go-to.

*Not a scientific percentage, more of an gut approximation and I wanted to use an asterisk.

      Warm , dry, and happy.

I was skeptical of the interior polyester lining matched with the merino wool exterior but I've discovered that these leggings do exactly what they claim. They're simultaneously warm and very good at wicking moisture away from my body. I'd suggest these to others.

Much better than any polyester base layer. Very nice feeling and the quality is great. The color is awesome. Really happy with them!

I had never heard of Helly Hansen until my man (who used to live in Calgary) started buying them for me as gifts. I am always cold and these guys nailed it with their warm collection. Definitely the only base layers I've ever truly been happy with. Ligtweight but they pack a punch. Totally sold.

      A great base layer pant!

I've really enjoyed these pants. I wear them all the time whether I'm in the backcountry or at a resort these pants work perfectly as base layers. I have both shell ski pants and a lightly insulated pair and the warm pants are a great choice under both types of ski pants. I like them long and they can roll up easily if you don't like them in your ski boots.

      all right

I am 5’4” and 128 lbs, I went with the small. Truthfully, I am still undecided with these… they are nice color and all, but I tried them on and I can see my leg underneath and feel the cold air pretty well. I feel like they might be too thin for my liking. too bad because they look nice.

I ordered these for the upcoming ski season/winter in Colorado. I got them red, and they look throw back to the one-piece, red, confederate style long johns. The fit is right on with the sizing chart, and they are the perfect length. I hate when base layers are too long and bunch up in your ski boots, or too short and hit your shin in your boots. All-around great buy.

I got the hot pink in XS, which fit great. I had been debating between XS and S because I have skinny legs and a bubble butt. Fortunately the XS accommodated my curves nicely. I hate being cold and these babies keep my lower body delightfully toasty. Non-itchy, warm, sleek-- totally awesome.

            These will turn heads

... because they are HOT pink. But, hey, they are a base layer and easy to find in the dark amid all my other black/dark clothing. All joking aside, I really like these. I wear them under my everyday pants when I walk the dog and they keep me surprisingly warm. Not too hot and not too cold. As Goldilocks would say, "They are just right." Oh, and they're not very stretchy so if you've read the sizing chart and your hip size is on the edge between the medium and the large, go with the large. I have 38.5 inch hips & bought both a medium and a large. The large are more comfy and have more room to move without being baggy.
