Versatility isn't vexing.
You want to be warm and fashionable whether you're running errands around town or having a warm up coffee in the lodge, but you don't want to bogged down with bulky layers. Luckily, the Helly Hansen Verglas Down Insulator Jacket provides snuggly warmth from Allied European goose down without any excessive bulk. Dress it up or down to suit whatever cold weather adventure your day brings.
The shell of the Verglas jacket is constructed with a Pertex ripstop fabric for durable, lightweight protection against abraision. It is treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) coating so droplets of water run right off of your back. The chevron quilting is insulated with 700+ fill European goose down, and the quilting covers the entire jacket. An adjustable hem is slightly rounded in the back for extra coverage, and raglan sleeves make it easy to layer with either a base layer or sweater. Finishing the Verglas a full-length zipper, two zippered front hand pockets, and Lycra cuffs to seal out the cold and snow.

Not curvy enough
- Size Bought: L
- Height: 5'9"
I really love this jacket, and it has a great shape, but the hip area is too tight on me. I'm curvy, so if you're not so curvy this would be fabulous. for reference, I ordered a Large, and I wear size 14 pants. The top of the jacket fit great, and I have slightly broad shoulders and a medium sized bust. It's very soft and fluffy, and the color is beautiful.
