Fire your other knives, and bring the Fire to work.
Who says a pocketknife has to be some ugly thing with a fold-out magnifying glass, toothbrush, and stylus for your dumb smartphone? A pocketknife like the Helle Fire Knife is a full-tang beauty that brings to mind better days when if you asked someone about his smartphone, he'd say what the hell are you talking about? The triple-laminated stainless steel blade is durable and functional, and the curly birch handle puts those colored-plastic handled knives to shame. This one-piece handle wraps around the lower part of the tang, providing both beauty and safety. The Fire's snap-style leather sheath complements this thing of beauty.

- Q & A
This may be the sharpest factory blade I have ever seen. Beautiful wood, great multi-use blade thickness, and very controllable.
Cons: It doesn't throw as many sparks as my carbon blades do, its a little harder to sharpen but keeps an edge better, and I don't especially like that they put the sheath snap button behind the sheath.
I removed the cheap carabiner with a 550 cord lanyard and its much more useful.
Can't love it enough
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
First of all, Helle has one of the sharpest knives out of the box that I have ever experienced. I love the steel and design of their knives, they have a clean, simple, and utilitarian asthetic that I love. This knife has a pretty unique design and I really wasn't sure if I would like the handle but as I use it more and more I've come to understand its usefulness. I've been using this as more of utility knife and it works great for that. With its short, sturdy blade, the Fire is really maneuverable with a lot of control thanks to the full-length handle. Over all, you can't beat Helle knives if you're looking for a simple utility knife to accompany you either on hikes or day to day, this is the one for you.
Does the Hell Fire come with a belt loop on the sheath? I am looking for a day to day utility knife, fixed blade preferred. What other Helle knife models come with belt loops on the sheath?
