Lightweight and Compact

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My wife and I do a lot of destination camping (fly in and camp out). As such, we are always on the search for lightweight and compact gear that is also effective at our campsite, because we strongly value comfort at the end of a long day hiking. This table and storage pocket is perfect for this application; the table is sturdy, has two cup-holders, and the mesh pocket is great for misc. gear.

Great little table

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Quality consistent with all of the Helinox products. This table is awesome for its size and weight. It's very sturdy and the surface is quite rigid considering that it's primarily mesh. The cup holders are great too - perfectly placed in the middle of the table.

Remarkably Lightweight, Sturdy & Stable

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I bought this for a family backpacking trip. I had been eying one and wondered if I wanted to splurge on the weight and expense of a table. I was so glad I did. It has been out with me on three backpacking trips and a car camping trip. We cook on it play games on it. It is really quite handy. I wouldn't carry it on super long trips for sure. I am very happy with this purchase. It is amazing how convenient a table can be when it is so small and portable.

Super-light luxury

Familiarity:

I'm tempted to bring this along while backpacking, that's how light weight this table is! And when the table is put together (which is super easy to do by the way) it's solid and could hold a good amount.

Love it!

I absolutely love this table! I have a Helinox camp chair and it pairs perfectly. I got tired of eating with my food in my lap and my drink on the ground. This table fixes both of those problems and helps me keep my things off the ground. Its an accessory I would not reccommend going without!

Awesome

Perfect size, works great with the helinox chair. And you can never go wrong with cupholders. Also very sturdy.

Camp Table

The table is a little shorter than what I expected but it was awesome to have! It was light to pack in and was nice to not have to set things down in the dirt.

lightest table

Familiarity:

I just picked this up along with two of the Helinox chairs and am super impressed. It packs down really small and is very light. If backpacking with a group, I would maybe even consider bringing this along with to have a bit of camp luxury at the end of long day on my feet. It fits in a day pack or larger purse fine, too, meaning you can bring this thing just about anywhere.

Concerts, picnics, overseas trips, beaches, tailgating... I can go on. No more lugging = worth the $

Perfect little backcountry table

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This thing is light and packs down nicely. Nice and sturdy too. If you can afford the weight and space in your pack I would highly recommend it.

Helinox table one

I received this table as a gift. It will be a welcome addition to our next trip into the BWCA. I've used it several times already for ice fishing excursions with great success. It sets up in a flash and is really sturdy--surprisingly so. I also love the carrying case and the way the table fits back into it. The zipper opens the bag all the way down for easy access. Unlike the carrying bag that came with my REI flex lite chair, which is a little bit of a tight fit. I'm not a backpacker (although it's intrigung) but if I were, I would make room for this table in my pack. It's a luxury item, but well worth it. Right now, I keep this table and my flex lite in the car. They have come in as a handy duo more than once when we are out and about. Bottom line, it's the best portable table I've come across and am happy to have it.

Love this thing...

I've got a pair of Helinox chairs and this table. Super light for camp trips, but has gotten more use at the beach, local parks with the family and on vacations (worked great on our trip to Hawaii). Very sturdy despite being made of mesh (great for spills) and love the built in cup holders (they even works with wine glasses). The best feature is that it packs up small and light. Certainly not the cheapest table, but worth the price IMO as it get's more use given it's grab and go. I could certainly see taking this on a backpacking trip as well given how useful and relatively lite (and I'm a weigh weenie).

Nice to have if you can spare the weight

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Brought this guy along for a 5 day backpacking trip into Emigrant Wilderness. It was surprisingly nice to have a level and sturdy place to set your cup down. That said, I think I would only consider using it for picnicking or if backpacking, coastal or desert areas where there are no rocks or stumps to use as a table surface. I would not recommend putting a stove on it.

Great for Ravinia lawn seats

This was my corner setup when my friends & I went to Ravinia (i.e. outdoor summer concert outside of Chicago). The Helinox Table is between an Alite Mantis & a Helinox One chairs. (also pictured: Osprey Daylite daypack).

It's very light, packs small, unaffected by rain and big enough to hold a meal or several things. We used it on a three week motorcycle camping trip and had nothing but nice things to say about it.

how much weight can this table hold?

Brandon, My numbers aren't based on a load test but from when I've used one I wouldn't load it with more than 25lbs. Shoot me an email anytime you have questions! Jared D. Expert Gearhead 801.736.4336 jdowns@backcountry.com
