Built to abuse.

Sessioning rails, sliding boxes, and stomping huge hits doesn't always produce pristine looking skis. In fact, you're usually lucky to get a season's worth of shredding from your skis, and that's if you're lucky. The Head Framewall Ski, though, was designed and built to withstand the abuses of the park with a Framewall construction that will roll with the punches. On top of that, it features a true twin tip shape, burly sidewalls, and stout UHM C bases that won't blow up on you after your first big day in the park.

Think of the Framewall construction as a roll cage for your skis. The three dimensional construction of the sidewalls cover the skis from top to bottom, protecting the top sheets from dings and chips, and it will prevent any delamination from occurring. A rigid wood core gives the skis that stable feel you want when you're stomping landings on the hardpack, while the ISS (independent suspension system) helps to reduce chatter in the rockered tips and tails, giving the skis a super stable feel when you're straightlining between all the beaters to get back to the chairlift. Speaking of rocker, the profile of the Framewalls consists of mild rocker in the tip and tail to give the ski a smooth and buttery feel, while plenty of camber underfoot results in a ski that will hold an edge between features and remain stable on the landing.
