Ultralite MTX-S Fly Reel
Why We Like The Ultralite MTX-S Fly Reel
We like the Ultralite MTX-S Fly Reel for a lot of reasons. One of the main reasons being the fact that this is Hardy's first reel that combines carbon fiber and aluminum alloy. Great Bonefih Reel
I own the 6000 and 7000 size reels and they perform flawlessly. The drag is smooth and powerful enough at 5 lbs for most bonefishing situations. The reel is super light and when pared up with the Zane pro flyrod 6wt or 8wt makes a super bonefishing outfit. The sealed drag is a plus when wadding - no worries about getting the reel dunked while releasing a fish.

She is a Beauty
This role is absolutely beautiful. The design, the weight and the color fit together perfectly. I would never give it away again. The brake is extremely fine and can be adjusted perfectly.
