The Boot That Fits Me Just Right
I've had these for 3 years, and remain enthralled by their comfort. After years of trying ultra light boots and shoes, most of which didn't fit my narrow heel and wide instep, a review about their fit prompted me to buy a pair. I do use an aftermarket insert, but almost from day one these were as comfortable as the most comfortable boot I'd owned up to date, weighed slightly less than those, and were nearly instantly "my" boot. Not sure how many hundreds of hiking and backpacking miles are on them, but they clean up to look fresh and renewed (seems to be a Hanwag thing). I was so impressed I've bought and worn low top hiking shoes (Banks) for the first time, and the fit kept my heel in place on downhills.

Comfortable and stable!
I bought these two years ago and they continue to be my boot of choice for every type of weather and every condition. I live in Canada and these boots are my daily choice for walking around the city or going in the woods.

Great Boots for the Rocky Mountains
I picked up a pair of these before a 4-day backpacking trip into the Sangre de Cristo range. They were comfortable right out of the box, with no blisters despite not breaking them in whatsoever. They provided great grip on loose rocky terrain, good ankle support, and the heel stayed locked in both up and downhill with no slip. They are nice and light which makes a big difference towards the end of a long day with a lot of vertical gain, yet had enough stability and room in the toe box to be comfortable on descents. Overall great pair of boots.
