Love it
Last summer I bought the shoes in a shop in Trier. I have flat feet, a high instep and hallux valgus in both feet. It is very difficult for me to buy good shoes. Walking wasn't always fun for me, but it's so much nicer now. I no longer have pain, the shoes provide a lot of support and do not feel heavy. If you have difficult feet, I would recommend trying these on. It's an investment, but so worth it!

Comfort
These are the most comfortable hiking boots I’ve ever owned (I’ve been hiking thirty years). I have a bunion and pronation and these boots feel like a dream and are extremely stable. My family is actually tired of me exclaiming how wonderful my feet feel when I hike because I’m usually in pain two hours in with my other top brand hiking boots. I am so glad I invested in these boots- I can’t recommend them enough!

Not for my toes

The boots are marketed for people with bunions, but they didn't work for me. The boot seemed no different from many other boots I've tried on in the past six months, too tight across the base of the big toe and not enough room across the front of the toe box. I ordered two pairs, a half-size difference, and neither worked. The manufacturer needs to do more research and work in order to produce a boot that lives up to this marketing claim.

Just hiked Kilimanjaro with no issues!

I've tried various boots. Always killed my feet on descents. I usually get multiple blisters and my bunions kill after long descents. However, I took these boots to hike Mt Kilimanjaro for 6 days on every terrain imaginable without breaking them in. These boots were so comfortable and durable! My husband and son both had a well known brand of boot that ripped apart. My boot withstood very long days on rough terrain and my bunions and feet were so comfortable. I must add that I also wrapped my feet for double protection against rubbing and blisters. These are my most comfortable boot to date! Highly recommend for sensitive feet! They are in good condition after trekking 19,500ft up and back down. The grips on the soles also held up great on slippery, steep rocks, muddy rocks, and basic rock climbing.
