Perfect for warm weather
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I took this with me to Uganda where I stayed just miles from the equator. It got around 70ish degrees at night so anything thicker than this would have been much too hot. I had limited packing space so the small size of this product was very beneficial to me. I did not have much of a chance to shower during the trip so it had a very strong smell toward the end. When I got home I was able to throw it in the wash and it came out good as knew. I had no complaints about the length and worked well with the sleeping pad I had. Highly recommended to anyone traveling to a warm climate.
Great for traveling
I've been traveling in India for the past month and have spent just about every night in this thing. It's been so great to have in sketchy hotels. The material is extremely comfortable and cool. It's the perfect length for me at 5'8", but I'm sure if I were any taller I'd be cursing the length. Packs into a small pocket at the head and has not taken much room in my pack. Really glad I spent the money on this. Well worth it.

Is this water proof? Like could it be used to protect a bed from a bedwetter?
No, it's not waterproof. It'll protect from a little sweat, but not a full bladder's worth of liquid.

is this product viable for central american climate? and is it bug proof?
No, would be super hot! This is not the type of material you want to be enclosed inside. Go with silk, or a coolmax material.
Actually the material is a breathable nylon and it does not make you sweat. Silk is great but is snags really easily and tends to disintegrate in the wash over time. The Sleep Sack is much more durable over the long run. The nice thing about the Hammock Bliss Sleep Sack is that it also doubles as a travel pillow which is a feature that you will not find anywhere else.
