Weighing three pounds each, Hagan's Boost 97 Ski quickens your pace on the uphill so you can get to the fun part of alpine touring sooner. Speaking of the downhill, the Boost is surprisingly stiff for such a lightweight, and it's one of Hagan's more versatile options for riding powder, crust, and everything between. A 97mm waist keeps the Boost nimble and agile over trickier, icier terrain, and the heavily rockered tip works with the rockered tail to help keep you afloat in softer snow face shot after face shot.

Hagan made this ultralight, one-ski quiver with a poppy paulownia wood core with multiple layers of carbon to amp up the stiffness without weighing you down. The majority of the carbon is in the tip to drastically reduce chatter at high speeds. The Boost gets its versatility from Hagan's unique multi-radius sidecut that helps you keep tight turns through trees or wide turns down open aprons.
