Very simple and very nice to have

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Lightweight, easy setup. I brought it with me on a motorcycle camping trip (where space is always an issue) and it was worth the bulk! Works fantastic as a nightstand in your tent. Definitely a luxury, but one I'll be taking with me.
I wouldn't call it "heavy-duty" but it should last forever as long as you treat it well.

    Simple, easy, nice

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Simple, easy to assemble table great for expeditions and longer camps. Easy to setup and take down, various heights, great to get your dinner, cards, notebook, whatever off the ground.

I like it & worth the bulk.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this on a lark because being a paddler, weight isn't really a concern but keeping my food out of the dirt is.

With 2 heights, it works well and when my stove and plate are on the table, they remain clean and my dog knows to stay away. Anything on the ground is fair game in their mind.

My problems was that the aluminum top was slick so things slid off so I fixed that by using painter's tape on the slates then I got a cheap plastic mat that I cut to size to set onto the table. This mat rolls around the table to help protect it when packed and adds enough friction to keep my stuff ON the table even when it is at an angle.

Plus, while everyone else has their food and stove and plates on the ground and are trying to chop meats on a plate without getting the meat dirty, I am doing so on a table and after setting a table with my plate, flatware and wine glass, I feel civilized.

I like it & worth the bulk.

    worth the looks

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I am a little self conscious about this thing but it is so worth it when a meal needs more prep then boiling water. Having a slightly raised platform is nice and it is about cute as it can be and cute goes a long way. It is very light and well made and the engineering is cool. A luxury no doubt.

    Nice little table

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Compact and reasonably light. Great for keeping stuff off the ground. I also use it as a lap board. It's easy to setup and strong. This is the only table in its class (small portable backpackable table). It is a luxury to take this into areas where finding a natural table is not possible. Well done.

    One more slat

Great table. Could be improved however. One additional slat, 6 instead of 5, would result in a storeage arrangement with the table legs 180 degrees out of phase as opposed to 90 degrees out of phase. Any "even" number of slats would accomplish this smaller storage arrangement. Do this and it gets 5 stars.
