I love this spoon

I've put it through the wringer

It is the only utensil I bring backpacking. Have had mine for 3 years now.

Spoon broke in my pack before using it

Size Bought
5` 10"
215 lbs

I was really excited to use this spoon after seeing some positive reviews. The spoon broke underneath the rubber before I even took it out of my pack to eat. It may be usable but not sure how it will hold up. Super disappointing as I got this for a trip and didn't have another utensil on me.

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

To the bottom of the bag and beyond!

Keeps your hands out of the bag.

Everyone who has ever eaten a dehydrated meal out of a bag has walked away with food on their arm and sleeve. This is the best solution for that, extend your utensil reach!

Love the length

I've used it several times

Who doesn't like 9"? This spoon and backpackers pantry meals are a match made for people who don't like to get food on their hands from reaching into the bag with short spoons. Granted, you could trim the bags and then have to lick your knife clean but licking spoons is so much safer.

Backpacking must!

I've put it through the wringer

I love this long and light spoon for backpacker pantry meals. It's nice and sturdy for stirring, has a nice spoon shape for eating, and is a light weight convenience item. It doubles nicely as a stirring spoon for my dutch oven while car camping, which lets be honest, happens more often than backpacking. :)

I bought this spoon for backpacker pantry meals!
