What We Like About The Escape HS 3L Pot + Frying Pan

When we want to show off our backcountry cooking skills, we're glad we packed a cookset as versatile as this one. Fry bacon in the non-stick pan while fettuccine noodles boil in the silicon pot nearby. The pot's lid is integrated with holes to strain the pasta, but make sure to save the starchy water as a thickener for your sauce. After enjoying our camp carbonara, easy-to-clean materials make tidying up a snap. Collapse the pot back into the pan for tight storage and enjoy a good night's sleep with a full stomach.

Great for car camping

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The pot and pan have been used ~50 times now and I've yet to run into any issues of durability. The pot easily collapses down when needed, but feels sturdy when picking up to dump out excess pasta water. Boil times seem on par with other full aluminum pots. The pan is incredibly nonstick and shows almost no sign of use. The pan is rather shallow, with the sides only 1" high, and the lid doesn't perfectly sit on top.
