Your personal Mjölnir.
Forged in the heart of Grivel's cave-like workshop, the Thor Hammer pounds pitons and sets bolts on climbs like its ancient ancestor Mjölnir. Translated into English, Mjölnir stands for "grindstone" or "crusher," which is applicable for the Thor Hammer in that it grinds bolts into snow and crushes pitons into place. Its hot-forged chromolly steel construction is so solid that you'll probably pass this down to your youngster, he'll do the same to his boy, and so on and so on, until it becomes a family legend. Grivel included an elastic leash with a locking carabiner that is not recommended for climbing anchors or belays, but certainly saves your belay partner from falling hammers.

Grivel THOR Hammer - This thing is dope as far as hammers go. Much lighter than any of the other alternatives out there so you wont pump out tapping away. Since the shaft is made of aluminum and the head solid steel, its definitely a little head heavy so balancing in the hand initially is weird, however that feature lends itself to better hammering. The pinky catch on the bottom adds a little more security while striking and the bungy cord is a really nice feature especially when reaching for a high pin, however will say it can come back and bite you if you drop it hard. My only gripe is that I wish it came with a fully rated attachment biner, my personal opinion is nothing on my harness i wouldn't want to fall on or climb with.

The Mighty Thor
Cast out, across that blank sea of granite, high stepping from edge to chicken head, until you look down and realize your 15 feet above your last piece, with miles to go before that seam opens up. Thankfully you are packing the Thor hammer, a hand drill, and a couple of 5 piece power bolts. Light enough to not feel like a burden, but packs a mighty head weight punch. Ergonomically shaped, great for bashing pins as well as hand drilling on lead. I have this version as well as a really old one of these pups, and the old one is still in kicking condition - will last indefinitely.

The Ferrari of wall hammers
I've been using this hammer for hand drilling anchor bolts, as well as cleaning choosy routes. It's light weight but packs a punch, and has yet to show any signs of wear. It makes sandstone feel like butter... a giant wall of butter that you're throwing fat bolts into.
