The Air Tech Carbon Axe combines Grivel's most advanced blade with an ultralight shaft for alpinists, ice climbers, and mountaineers. Grivel forged the blade out of a single piece of steel to ensure long-lasting durability, and the myriad of gritty teeth give a good grip on ice and rock. The ultralight carbon composite shaft has a gentle curve for greater clearance, and Grivel added a natural rubber grip and leash for convenience.
