Maya 22L Backpack

Streamlined and functional, the Gregory Maya 22 Backpack ensures that you can carry the essentials on your commute, hike, or international trip. Its minimalist aesthetic doesn't deplete its storage space, rather it makes carrying whatever you need more comfortable. This pack features the BioSync suspension system to support the load while allowing plenty of airflow. The padded shoulder straps and waist belt feature mesh construction for breathability, and it helps to keep the pack's weight down while maintaining comfort.

The top-access main compartment is roomy enough for storing extra layers, daily documents, and other larger items, with an internal-zip security pocket for housing keys, cash, and other small necessities. Another innovative feature is the bungee-secured front pocket that expands to accommodate your bike helmet or rain jacket. Ultimately, this lends the Maya 22 the versatility needed for conquering everything from downtown bike commutes to extended travel across widely varying climates.

Buckle Broke

The buckle broke within 2 uses and Gregory is making life difficult to fix. Don't buy this product.

Great pack

The website doesn't give this bag justice. I wanted the gray one but I settled for the Riviera Blue and OH my Goodness it is absolutely beautiful. It's almost a Blue/Purple. This pack is going to be a great day pack!

My Favorite Daypack Yet

I used this backpack for the first time last weekend on a 10 mile day hike. It was very comfortable and I did not have any wakes or pains in my shoulders. What I liked the best is that the torso is adjustable, and I think that made all the difference.

Awesome Day Bag

My wife and I use this bag at least once a week since we got it in 2017. It's now july 2021 and we have had zero issues. I bought it for my wife but in fact i love this bag i use it way more than her. Someday, if this one ever wears out, i'll buy my own.

Best pack ever!

Love my Gregory backpack! I have used it many times for hiking and day trips. Most recently I have been using it to haul my gear up for rock climbing. Its extremely comfortable and well built! It has so many convenient pockets and the reservoir is an added bonus when i know im going to be out all day.

Perfect bag for day hiking adventures!

After 20 years with my trusty backpack from another brand, I decided to upgrade. My friend swears by her Gregory pack, so I gave the Maya 22 a shot. Just used it over the weekend for a day hike and I love it! So comfortable with lots of pockets. The hip pockets are great for lkeeping lip balm and camera handy. The pack is big enough for my stuff AND my 9lb chihuahua who gets a ride in the backpack when his legs tucker out on long hikes.

Not for long torsos

This bag does not fit my torso even with the shoulder harness adjusted to the maximum height. I’m 5’4’. My torso is 19”. The bottom of the hip belt barely rested on the top of my hip when packed. I tried the Miwok which fit me length-wise but the shoulder harness did not work for me. I also tried the Jade 28 in the larger size which fit perfectly. But it was just too much bag for my purposes. If the Maya had a larger size I would have gotten it. Gregory needs to offer r more sizes for its day packs.

Outstanding Day Pack!

I bought this pack for a day hike in North Carolina. It comfortably held all our gear and two water bottles for easy access. I will be ordering the 3D Hydro Reservoir. The pack was very comfortable and easy to adjust to fit me.

Love it!

I got this pack a month ago. I am loving it. I haven't taken it hiking yet (waiting for winter to end) but I've taken it on 2 trips so far. The material is nice, the pockets are perfect for organizing all my gear and I love the color (I got the red). I got the 3L water reservoir to go with it and loved that too. (Easy to clean and dried quickly). I was debating between the 16 and the 22, but I'm glad I went with the 22. It's compact when I need it but will hold anything extra when I need that! It worked great as my personal item on my flight. It fit under the seat perfectly without being bulky. It was comfortable to wear packed full. Can't wait to get it on the mountain!
