Drift 14L Backpack

The 14L is the largest pack in Gregory's Drift Backpack line. This pack helps you take on long, shuttled rides, or equally long, unsupported out-and-backs. The Shift RS Suspension system allows the hip belt to adjust vertically to hit you in a comfortable place as you ride, and stabilizes the load so you can focus on the trail ahead. It also features Matrix Ventilation foam in the back panel to ensure you get plenty of airflow to prevent your back from becoming a swamp. Mesh in the shoulder straps, hip belt, and back panel is designed to wick away perspiration and provide evaporative cooling. Like the rest of the Drift line, the 14L features bike-specific storage for your tools, electronics, snacks, and other gear, plus plenty of space for a layer or rain jacket. The Drift comes with a 3D Hydro Reservoir to ensure you can keep water on-hand, and that it matches your back comfortably.

Biking backpack

It is comfortable and adjustable to torso length. It has enough storage for a day of riding!

Great for Biking and Light Hiking

I got this primarily for MTB and recreational bike rides - keeps an extra layer/rain gear, hat/gloves, snacks, water in the included bladder, wallet, phone, etc. This is my smallest pack of any kind, and it is just right for the purpose I bought it. It would work for warm/fair weather day hikes as well. The water hose has a great easy on/off magnetic clip to stow out of the way on the opposite shoulder. Great feature.

Drift Review

Used it as a hydration pack for a bike packing trip on the Colorado Trail, it held up great to the use and abuse we gave it!

Love this pack!!

Meant for biking but great for hiking as well. Used it on an 8 mile hike and it felt basically weightless even with the full water bladder.

So far so great

I've bought other gregory packs in the past and this one is just as reliable and is a great size and fit for mountain biking and the few hikes ive done so far. Comes with a 3L hydration pack that is also a great addition

Great Hydration Pack

I would have given this pack a 10, but the bite valve doesn't provide great water flow.

Fit A Lot in a Little

This is a little bag, that can fit a lot of stuff. I love the 3L bladder and the adjustable back strap. I think that there are a lot of great pockets for a ton of stuff. The only thing that bugged me was that the largest pocket is a lot deeper than the others. It gets really hard to get things from the bottom. Could be user error, but it was a bit annoying. I was able to take this bag on a full 18 day hike and mountain biking as well. not a lot of bounce which is great.

Great backpack

Used for 3 different 10+ mile hikes and works great. A little small if you have to store clothing layers during a hike. Water bladder is great and easy to disassemble, hang, and dry.
