It's a great overall pack, and very comfortable to wear. The only downside is that it could use more pockets and a few carbineer points.

This is a super comfortable pack for a day hike or a minimal overnight trip. Water bladder locks in and has its own compartment, so you don't have to pack gear around it.

You want one

I love how comfy my Citro feels on my back, I stuffed it full and it hugged me well and stayed in place while hiking around. I like the water reservoir and the magnetic stay that keeps it attached to the chest cinch. I think the padded cell phone pocket is not very useful at all but other than that this is a great pack and ridiculously comfortable

Great daypack!

I am new to hiking unless you count my experience in the Army a long time ago. I was looking for a backpack that can handle just water and little else. I researched many backpacks and Gregory was at the top of many other reviewers lists. The Citro 36 hydro was the perfect choice. Not too big, not too small. Highly recommended!

Nice pack!

I love my new Gregory Citro 36 pack. It's spacious and carries well. Super comfortable! The hip belt pockets are big enough to fit my phone, map, compass and plenty of snacks. I wish they zipped closed to the back because snags pull them open, I cut off the pull rings to prevent this. The 3 liter reservoir is great. I'm loving the detachable hose, it makes filling it super easy. The pack even made a short overnight trip with a tent, sleeping bag and food bag strapped to the outside. Well done Gregory!

Winner

I bought this pack specially for self-supported 100+ mile overnight skateboard trips and I don't think I could have found a more perfect bag. I was able to squeeze an REI magma sleeping bag, kymit pad, REI SL2 Quarterdome Tent, plus a change of clothes and some food. On top of that was able to squeeze another 2L bladder in the compartment so I could carry 5 liters on the trail. Came in around 23.5 lbs. The hip belt and chest strap kept the weight stable while skating for 10 hours. I'm 6'1" 170lbs and the pack seems to fit me like a glove. All the features are super well thoughtout. For example, I didn't think I'd use the sunglasses clip but I use it all the time. I really like that the straps have loops to clip a GoPro also. The bladder it comes with is great, being able to refill it without removing the tube from the pack is super convenient. This bag is perfect for day hikes or short overnight trips where you need to carry lots of water. Final note: I was between the 30 and the 36 so I ordered them both. Ended up keeping the 36, the extra room is worth it and doesn't make it much bulkier in my opinion.
