great for super cold windy rides. I got one size up to layer. Glad I did because it hangs down low in back adding further protection. I've used it with other layers and amfib jacket in temperatures as low as 15 degrees fht.

I don't know how they do it but I will wear this with a sleeveless vest or or a short sleeve jersey and first thing in the cool morning you are very comfortable and 5 hours later in the day, you are still comfortable. Last weekend, I got rained on about 6:00a with temp about 64 and it actually seemed to repel the rain (I was wearing a short sleeved Castelli jersey) and I was extremely comfortable! It is my go to base layer!
