Good tech, awkward fit.

I was excited to get a lightweight performance vest for running in San Francisco where the temperature is often in between the temperature thresholds. I tried the vest on when I received it and felt that it fit properly but didn't have a chance to actually try it on a run for quite some time due to shelter in place rules where I live and then a stretch of hot weather during which I wouldn't wear a vest anyway. When I finally did get to use it on a run a few days ago, I noticed that the fit around shoulders and especially arm holes is quite awkward and a bit too snug when I wear a standard s/s running shirt beneath the vest. I only really experienced this while actually using it on the road and moving my arms repeatedly in actual running motion, so now it is no longer in brand new condition. Couldn't find a way to contact anyone to ask for an exchange when on the site and no longer qualify for a refund so stuck with a piece of tech gear I won't be able to use because of that fit issue. I recommend anyone buying this take it for a test run promptly after receiving to ensure you don't get stuck like I did.

This has become a staple for shoulder season running. Keeps me dry and shields me from wind. It's always good to have the extra pocket and it works well with my other layers. I originally purchased a small, but it was too snug. Ended up going with a medium.

This thing will let you go the distance. The Infinium is basically water proof, but doesnt have taped seams. It also STRETCHES so you can comfortably wear this running or xc skiing with a bit of protection. The mesh back lets the heat escape when things warm up, and the shell front keeps you from freezing in sprint for the line.
