Super warm

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Wore these in a couple of rides that were in the mid-30 degree F with wind. Stayed very warm. Good fit and true to size for me - i typically wear 32x32 pants and Medium worked fine.

Returned, not cut for a clydesdale

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I get it, I'm not built like a 250 mile a week cyclist. I'm a stocky ball of muscle (and some flab). I'm 5'6" 225lbs, so finding tights is a chore. With my short legs, I often find that I do better buying knickers than full leg tights. So these in an XXL, absolutely don't fit me. I would say that it is the correct waist and thigh size, but they are cut for someone probably 10 inches taller than me. So no knocks on the sizing, that chart is correct, they just don't work for the husky. I want to mention 2 things. First, notice that front zipper, that ends about your belly button? There is no hook at the top of it. If you've had a beer or a pizza and have any sort of normal belly, that zipper is not staying up. Just unzips. I don't really understand why it is there. Second, there is a decent chamois pad in these. It is odd, because I don't think it is thick enough to ride without a pair of padded shorts underneath, but riding with padded shorts will probably be far too thick. These have a great weight for really cold weather, I could see hitting the freezing mark. I'm off to see if they have a knicker version of these.
