The Element of Suprise.
Don't let rain get in the way of your training or the ride into work with the Gore Bike Wear Men's Element Gore-Tex Jacket. Constructed with a Gore-Tex weather protection membrane, this jacket blocks rain and wind with moisture-moving breathability helping keep you comfortable regardless of the precipitation falling from the sky.
The Element Gore-Tex features a stow-away hood in the collar that is there when the conditions warrant it, and easily packs away preventing the dreaded wind sail when you don't. The hem width is simple to adjust with the elastic drawcord and covered cord stoppers. Blocking out wind, rain, or adjusting the jacket to accommodate layers underneath couldn't be easier. Adjustable elastic sleeve cuffs provide the same protection at your wrists.
You'll quickly appreciate the small details, such as a wardrobe hanger tab for easy air drying, zip tags for effortless opening and closing, and water-intrusion preventing zipper under-flaps, make this jacket worthy of consideration if you are looking for quality rain protection while on the bike. Gore adds two front hand pockets to keep essentials dry and close at hand and a rear zip pocket for more gear and snacks. Keeping you safe, the Element Gore-Tex Jacket features reflective logos on the front and back to increase visibility for motorists in low-light and rainy conditions.

Was looking for a lightweight, windproof, waterproof jacket for hiking and casual wear with just enough room to layer over a fleece vest or jacket in cold weather. The Gore Element Gore-Tex is perfect. The stow-away hood is a nice addition, too. The jacket isn't sufficiently form-fitting for serious road cycling, IMO, (would probably go with the Power Gore-Tex Active), but it's great for commuting or non-cycling wear. It's a bit pricey (but not unreasonable for Gore-Tex), otherwise I'd give it 5 stars.
