Not too warm and not too cold.
Cold breezes are only an excuse when you have Gore Bike Wear's WindStopper Base Layer Shirt in your collection. Why? Because the WindStopper Shirt will protect you from harsh winds, regardless of the season.
For its construction, Gore combined a polyester knit with its proprietary WindStopper membrane. As a 100% windproof fabric, Gore's WindStopper was incorporated in the front, shoulders, and kidney panels in order to keep your core warm. In addition to being windproof, the WindStopper membrane is also highly breathable and quite efficient at managing moisture. In fact, by transporting moisture from the skin to the surface of the fabric, this membrane keeps you dry and comfortable. And because cool temperatures won't stop you from working up a sweat, the rear window has been constructed of a polyester blend to vent any excess heat.
Gore constructed this base layer around a contoured fit. Accordingly, this shirt is designed for the cycling position, meaning that it will move with you instead of binding and bunching. Along these lines, Gore also incorporated flatlock stitching for the seams. This provides an even closer fit while also doing away with chafing at the seams.
The Gore Bike Wear WindStopper Shirt is available in five sizes from Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black and White.

This baselayer is great. Breathes well and keeps the wind off your chest. The mesh back and under the arms help vent off heat buildup. I have a 40" chest and originally ordered the XL. It was too loose and I went to a L which fits great. Seriously thinking about getting another. Did a 24 hour, 235 mile ride in it last weekend.
What does waist length mean? Is the shirt long enough to tuck into cycling shorts?
