Polar II Glove

Pull on the Gordini Women's Polar Glove to go toe-to-toe against frigid conditions in freezing temps. The deerskin leather shell provides comfort and durability, and is fortified with a waterproof, breathable Aquabloc membrane to keep your hands dry when facing white-out conditions at the resort or in the backcountry. Downtek on the back of the hand delivers the warmth of 750-fill down power while the Hydrowick moisture-management lining on the palm prevents clamminess from taking over when you're working up a sweat. The gauntlet design helps fight off sneaking snow, and the adjustable strap allows you to customize the fit to your liking.

Not warm

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought these for skiing out West. The gloves felt great when I first tried them on - soft, comfortable, seemingly good quality. So I cut the tags off and gave them a trial run on a walk in the mountains. Walk wasn't long - maybe 45 minutes - in cold temperatures (probably 20 degrees Fahrenheit or so). My hands were ice blocks even before the end of the walk. I'm surprised and disappointed because for the cost and the apparent quality, I really thought these gloves would have kept my hands much warmer. Backcountry won't accept the return now because I cut the tags off (my fault, although there's really not a good way to try them out without doing so). Unfortunately, these just turned out to be an expensive mistake. Would not recommend.
