What are you having for dinner?

While everyone else in camp chokes down cans of kippered snacks, packets of chili mac, and cold Vienna sausages, you'll set their taste buds a-drool with Good To-Go's Thai Curry Entree. Made in Maine with fresh ingredients, this spicy yellow coconut curry is made with vegetables, jasmine rice, Thai chilies, ginger, and turmeric powder for good measure.

Surprisingly amazing

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This was one of my first time trying out freeze dried food and I was not disappointed one bit! This is a perfect treat for backpacking especially after eating the same things for the past couple days. My boyfriend and I ate this together and we were both surprised at how full we got from this one packet. It truly is a two serving package! I would definitely recommend for starters who loves some curry!

So tasty

This is always the meal I look forward to most on backpacking trips! The flavor is really great - they even add dehydrated coconut milk! I can eat the two servings that come in the one bag if I'm really really hungry, but often I'm full and theres a little left to snack on the next day.

It was really nice to have a dinner to look forward to after a long day in the backcountry, and this didn't disappoint.

Top of the Line

I've used it several times

This is my favorite meal from this brand, I would suggest cooking the meal a little longer than suggested. I left mine for the recommended time and the peas were still a little crunchy.

Probably my favorite from GTG. Suprisingly good for backpacking food. Grab a few if you're into thai curry.

Too spicy for me

Familiarity:

I'm not sure if I didn't add enough water or what but it was a little too spicy for me. It gave me terrible flatulence for 2 days. It didn't look to appetizing either. I wouldn't buy it again.

Favorite meal so far.

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have tried 4 other meals from this same brand and this one has been my favorite so far!!! I also love thai curry so I knew I was going to love it either way but I was so impressed with this backpacking meal! I could honestly just eat this at home. I am going to order more for sure. By following the 20 minutes instructions plus a few minutes extra for high altitude it cooked perfectly! Ate it right out of the bag and there was plenty to share with my partner. I love that all Good-to-go meals are gluten free! such a game changer! They also don't use any meat.. (except for one of their meals? and fish products) it makes me so happy!! Highly recommend!

Best Freeze Dried Meal

I've had a bunch of freeze dried meals, but this one might really be the best tasting of all of them. Definitely would get this one again.

The Best!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is, hands down, the best backcountry meal. The flavors are rich and I love that it's gluten-free and vegan!

Not vegan, as it does have anchovie as an ingredient, but it is gluten and dairy free!

Absolute Favorite Backcountry Meal

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is literally the best flavor of backcountry meal I could ask for. Nutritionally rich, the packaging is small for the industry without extra bulk, and homemade curry goodness! The powdered coconut milk addition is just fantastic. Seriously, five stars.

Pretty Darn Good

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

If you are going to do freeze dried meals, Good to Go is the Way to Go. Generous serving size and tastes way better than the competitors. My favorite is the Thai Curry , followed by the Mushroom Risotto.

Pretty tasty.

These aren't too bad as far as freeze-dried meals go. I'd say these are a step above other backpacking meals out there, but keep in mind that they are still freeze-dried meals, so don't expect it to be too gourmet.
