Why We Like The YETI X 600W Power Supply 120V (YETI 1000X & UP)

Goal Zero products have become a mainstay of our own camping and road trip packing lists. So when we saw the new YETI X 600W Power Supply was capable of charging a Yeti 1500X in three hours and 3000X in just six, we knew we had to add it to the lineup. This Power Supply charges all YETI X Power Stations (1000 and up) at a fraction of the time, so you have to spend less time getting ready for your next adventure.

600 W of untaped power.

Get the brand new 600 W charger for your 1500X it will charge in a mirror few hours versus 11 or 12. If you see the size of it you’ll know why they had to charge a premium price. It’s built like a tank is heavy as any brick you’ll ever find it needs to be. It’s out 600W. What a power supply just get it

Yeti Roll Cart

Received the cart about 2 weeks ago. The hold down bolts DO NOT fit the bottom of the Yeti 1500X. They are too small for the holes in the bottom of the 1500X.

Careful of bolts

I just used this for the first time with my 1500X up at my cabin in northern Maine. The bolts loosen much too easily. Rolling over dock and cement blocks vibrated them loose. Actually lost one and now have to go try and find a compatible replacement or 2. Recommend you get replacements and keep the Allen wrench in the cover.

Works great if needed and used properly

Depending on your application you may not need this. I was using the 1500 to power a pump and two compressors. Even with the 10A car charger I only get about 5.5-6 hours from a full charge. The 600W supply allowed me to not only completely recharge overnight. but recharge about half way during 1.5-2 hour pit stops. This will heat up the battery considerably. Do not use in a car with the windows up or while the battery is covered.

Not impressed.

They make it seem like the cart can handle the batteries. Not the case. I'd be worried to carry my luggage on it as it is not very solid. You live and you learn. I'm only giving it a 1 star rating because they won't let me leave 0 stars

Works on 3000x

I am off the grid and use the boulder panels to recharge my Yeti 3000x. However, when the skies are cloudy, solar doesn't work.. (duh) Using the 600w plugged into my gas generator juices the 3000 back up in 4-6 hours. I run a Starlink satellite dish/router and a small refrigerator. (And charge cell phones, laptops, etc..). I usually see just over 500w - 545w input. The only reason for 4 stars is that the 200w (?) that came with the 3000 is, to me, useless, so this is a required add, and therefore additional expense that I wasn't planning on needing.

The best charger available. Hands down.

I am beyond happy. It arrived ahead of schedule. I plugged it in, my yeti 1500 was dead in the water. It was completely charged in 4 hrs. Amazing... Will be ordering my solar plugs next. Thank Yeti

Good, when it works

It worked as it should the first two charges. After that, the maximum output hovers between 187-198 watts. With me waiting for my Yeti 1000x to charge in 6 hours instead of 2. I can’t find any information for troubleshooting this issue. It’s frustrating as it’s hardly been used.

Great idea

It doesn’t fit both generators if it did then it would be great

Great Ideal, but not suitable for outdoors.

I bought this 2 weeks ago for Scout Camp and would say there are two big flaws with this. The base is sturdy and good quality, however the telescoping handle is very flimsy and feels cheaply made. The second flaw is when you actually tilt the cart to pull it the bar becomes to low to the ground and going over gravel will damage the bar and the plastic piece that holds the telescoping handle to the base.
