Yeti 200 times
Yeti is great too have i purchased yeti 200time great for the great out doors but us guy’s need more power so i upgraded to yeti 500times

Yeti 500X case
Purchase made a month ago. To protect my Yeti 400. Sturdy handles make it easy to lift and move. The lid folds back so you can access the controls.

fancy case

Nice case….with exceptions….
Excited to have a nice case to protect the 200x and store the charger. First time I used it almost ended in calamity! The strap popped out of the swivel buckle and by the grace of some good fortune, I was able to catch it before it would have fallen 20 feet. I thought maybe that was my fault and the buckle was soft set or I tugged to hard…put it back together and found it couldn’t support the weight of the 200x and charger. I spread the teeth out in the buckle and reassembled and it kept happening. Had to use a zip tie to make it trustworthy. Otherwise, nice case.

Yeti 400 Case Lacks compartment for cables
I wish there was a separate compartment attached to this case to store cables when they are not in use.

Does this case help insulate the power station from temperatures lower than 35°F? Not that I'm leaving this exposed to freezing Temps in a tent, but I might consider leaving it in the back seat of the car wrapped in this.

I purchased the 500x and this case. There is a foam insert and it is confusing. Do you keep it in and set the 500x on top of it? It says to remove it for the 400. Can it sit on the foam base if it is charging

I'd like to over-winter my Yeti 1000 in a van, connected to 2 Boulder 100 panels, with temps below 0 deg F. I was told to put Yeti in cooler and internal heat would protect the unit. Might the Yeti 1000 Carry Case provide same effect as a cooler?
