This is my second one...

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Liked it so much that I bought another one to keep the family powered when camping. Charges my stuff as fast as an outlet. Works great with my Goal Zero solar panel. Seems pretty robust but keep it plugged in when not in use.

Wow a great price....Thanks BackCountry!

This was a great deal from Backcountry..I have the Sherpa 100 and I needed another inverter for a backup. Goal Zero has some great items...some are costly..but thanks to Backcountry it was at a super price. I plan on using these in my camper van along with 4 Goal Zero Light a Lights. Buy the best from Backcountry..Oh and thanks for the fast shipping also!!...

I love it...Charges my phone quickly!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this to power my two Light-A-Life 350s. Powers them both on low setting for just over 14 hours straight...in my basement test. I recharged my phone from 30% to full charge in about the same time as an outlet and consumed 1 bar of battery life. The inverter is easy to take off if you want it smaller to fit in a backpack but you may not need this much battery for backpacking if you want to keep the pack weight down. It is really easy to use and all the functions are pretty much self evident. This will be my first camping season using it and I hope its as robust as it seems. I know I can rely on BackCountry if I have any issues! :)

    I like this thing!

Ok, I havent used it camping yet but it has passed the rigorous basement testing program pre-camping. Charged right up. Tested all the plugs and they work great with all my essential gear. The design is robust...nothing that's going to break off in my pack. I would recommend this over many of the small recharging power packs out there including the Venture 30...which I also have. It has all the features and connections I think I want. Ok...so why only 4 stars? This is NOT waterproof so let's make it resistant to what can and will happen when camping. Give me rubber plug blanks for the ports and a waterproof case. Ok, maybe a waterproof case might get some to overheat their power packs but at least some rubber plugs and bumpers. Bottom line is that theres a lot of recharging options out there and Goal Zero is going for robust and long lasting...they've got my vote.

      Compact and still very functional

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great value for the size. You can charge a laptop or anything smaller, have the flexibility of an inverter, and it's not too bulky. Remember to keep it plugged in and charging when you are not using it frequently, otherwise you may find that the battery won't work as well as it used too or maybe not at all.

      Great price for fantastic product

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is the ultimate piece for someone who is looking to go off the grid for a little bit. By charging this, which you can do with a traditional outlet or with a solar panel, you will be able to charge your phone, laptop, camera, or other small electronics multiple times! This paired with the Nomad13 or Nomad20 makes for an awesome combination in which you can have power forever without ever creeping back into civilization!

Paired with the Nomad 13 Solar Panel

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Fantastic product. I paired it with the Nomad 13 Solar Panel and the two work fantastic together. Holds enough charge to recharge my phone and GoPro multiple times without having to recharge
