Does not attach to panel as is.
Customer service very helpful in advising all items needed to connect GZ panels to SAE port. Charge controller requires you to select correct battery type to avoid battery damage. Biggest drawback is that it requires another part & drilling into your panel to mount it. For now, it sits in a box on ground nearby- suboptimal.

Control This!
I purchased this in 2021..and almost a year later finally recieved it. The idea was to use it as a trickle charger for the Harley. Well after more than a year I can say it was a good purchase! Installation on the Boulder 50 took about 5 minutes and that was mainly measuring and remeasuring before drilling the holes to hang it. Those holes could and should be done during manufacturing in my opinion. It's not a difficult step for some but others don't have the mechanical skills these days to drill those holes confidently. Again, in my opinion. Anyway,, after a year of intermittent operation it's still puttin along. The only other thing I'll say is this, everything needed to put this into operation should be included! Or at the very least in a charge control essentials package. Just my 2 cents...

Works great
I’ve been using this now for at least a year. I have a 100 watt Boulder panel on top of my pickup truck to charge my Yeti 1500X while camping. When I’m not using it for that I use the panel to keep my truck battery topped off while I’m not driving it. I leave it for weeks at a time since I travel for work and this setup keeps my battery working great. Never had it die since installing it. No complaints at all.

A bit fidgety
Bought this to use with a Nomad 50 for the 12v battery we use to light our cargo trailer. It works perfectly, but the "correct" way to mount it would not work with the soft Nomad 50. So I adapted part of an old plastic battery box to attached it to. This shades it to keep it cool, and allow me to see the screen, and I mounted magnets with snap links. I can put it anywhere I want now.
