So great

I heard JVL on the Bulwark podcast tout these slippers. I have worn them every day since they arrived. My feet are narrow and these are pretty wide, but it hasn't been a problem around the house. My feet are always cold and these shoes are the only thing that keep them warm without sweating. Awesome purchase and well worth the cost.

I love these slippers. This is my second pair as I wore out my first pair. Worth the money - so comfortable, breathable with the open back, and forms to your foot. They will stretch over time, or at least mine did because I wear the all the time. I'm a size 36 in most things but purchase 37 in these slippers. I purchased the green ones this time and love them!

These slippers are so awesome! I am picky about my slippers... they can’t be too hot or itchy or too thick. These are so great. If you want to wear them outside go for the other style with the rubber sole.

These were a Father's Day Gift win. My husband is working from home now that we are SIP and wears these literally nonstop. He is between a 10 and 11 and we initially bought the equivalent of 10.5, but exchanged for 10 and its perfect. I said TTS because he is a 10 in some other shoes.

I love my Glerups--from their soft blue grey color, to the comfy warmth they keep my feet in winter. Every time I slip them on I appreciate again the quality of the wool felt and tanned leather soles. This is my second pair having worn my old ones to threads. Who would think slippers could give so much pleasure?!

I wore out my first pair after 3ish years wearing them nearly everyday while at home. I really like them so I got another pair. What I thought was an unfortunate event of them not having the same size I ordered the first time, I sized up and was actually quite pleased. It ended up being a good thing! I could have probably sized up two sizes and been fine since these are slippers. There are not many wool slippers out there with a leather sole, but there don't need to be as long as Glerups makes these. The only potential downside I could see is there is a soft, cushion feeling. When I got my first pair, I noticed it compared to whatever I was using before. However, I actually like it now. It's closer to the barefoot feeling which I am good with at home! They also relatively quickly form to your feet which is a nice feeling when they do. I've had these for a few weeks and they already feel like they are truly mine.

Bought these for my husband and he says: This is my second pair of Glerups if that tells you anything. I wore the first pair almost constantly for 2 plus years until they finally gave out. This time I went with the low back version and I love them even more. Warm in winter but still breathable when it warms up.

I tried them based on friend's recommendation. So glad I did. The wool is amazingly breathable while still keeping my feet warm. This is the single most awesome thing about them. When I wear my old slippers I realize how little they breath, and go right back to the Glerups. I like this leather sole version for just wearing indoors all winter, and I appreciate the low back so I can slip them on easily. I highly recommend! The size 40 is a perfect fit - I wear a 9.5 women's street shoe.

I was having a hard time finding the right slipper for working at my computer all day at home. Gave these suckers a try, and I am hooked on the boiled wool. It is soft, comfy, and not too warm or cold. They pick up every hair and fiber possible, so if you have a shedding dog around, heads up!

Got these for my dad and he says they're comfortable, sturdy, and have a sole that wont wear out anytime soon. He says they're just the slippers he's been looking for and are a great product! *edit* months later and he still loves the crap out of em! He says he can wear them inside, outside, they're oh so comfy and show no signs of wear. Everyone in the family wants a pair!

My foot is narrow to medium, size 7.5 m but I got these in 39 and my orthotics fit inside perfect. These are wide due to my skinny ankles and the way the shoe is made, but l love these, have worn them all winter inside and outside. Thanks for having them in stock.

I bought these for my wife for Christmas and she loves them. They don't leave her feet when she is inside. They are warm, comfortable and made really well. They should last a few years. I am going to have to get a pair for myself. I followed the size chart and they fit her great.

I purchased these for my mother, she loves her some Gotland wool. These slippers seem very well made, I have read some reviews that talk about them being scratchy so I included a pair of smartwool socks. A comfy Mom is a happy Mom.

Best slippers

These slippers are perfect. They felt a little weird at first, with the seam in the bottom, but they've broken in quite well and feel great now. They are a bit scratchy, but I typically wear socks with them so I don't mind.

I typically wear an 8-8.5 and ordered these in 38, and (as I would have known, had I studied the size chart) they ended up just feeling a little too small - and I didn't like the way my heel lifted out of them when walking. They seemed well-made and were certainly soft and comfy, aside from the fit. I've returned them and ordered a pair of the same brand's shoe-slippers, in a 39, which are great!

Bought a pair of these in late 2015, almost a hundred bucks. I got the black ones, and as you wear them, a lot of the felt fibers come out. They end up all over the house, little black balls of lint. But I could live with it, because these are pretty comfortable, and, I hoped, long-lived. Unfortunately, not the case. I wear them only indoors, but after about two years the felt in the insole area has worn away, so that I am basically walking around on the leather sole. Stitching has come out on one, so that the sole is separating from the upper, and a hole has appeared above my big toe on one. I'm not hard on these; I only wear them for a short time in the morning on most days. But when I've spent around a hundred bucks on other slippers-- leather ones from other sources-- they last, and last, and last. Nothing lasts forever, but I'll never buy these again.

Shoes arrived defective

I already left a review but it looks like Backcountry decided to delete it. Maybe because it was 1 star? So now I'm leaving a second review with 2 stars instead. I got these slippers but the quality seemed pretty poor considering the price. The sole was already coming off the bottom of the slipper when I took it out of the box. Maybe these are normally better than this but it made me question the quality control of Glerups and decide against shelling out $100+ for a pair of slippers. Your mileage may vary.
