Nice pants, hope they last

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

What I like - Giro made a high-quality, sharp-looking pair of pants. The gusseted crotch makes them better for commuting than your typical chinos. The bike-specific elements (e.g., reflective accents) are a nice touch. Things to consider - The pants fit very slim. What I'd change - I'd swap the button fly for the greater utility of a zipper. Additionally, I'm not sure how long these pants will last. The two pairs I purchased both faded significantly in the seat after minimal use (about 200 miles in the saddle and 2-3 washes (line dried)). For the premium price, I'd expect greater durability.

Nice pants, not for me

I liked these pants, quality materials and nice weight. They just did not fit me. The pants were too tight in the thighs for me. Some people may like that fit, but I prefer a little more space. They were also too long, I usually wear 30x30 and these are more like 30x32

Three pairs and great to ride in

I've had a few pairs of these now and have been pretty happy with them. Did have a pair that said they were a 34 but were actually more like a 36. But had no issues exchanging so can't complain. They are very comfortable to ride in and look pretty stylish. I appreciate the elasticity when spending long durations on my bike. When I first got them, I went for a ride in the rain and they appeared to have some water repelancy but it seams to have faded. The only con I have now that I've owned these for a while is that both the tan and navy are starting to fade along the seams.

All understated cycling pants' description read the same. "Looks great from bike, to office, to bar". Sounds like a meddling existence - these pants however, are on the money. Tailor fit, out of the box. Durably constructed. Reflective piping inside of cuffs is understated and the zippered pocket on the hip will certainly prove useful. Love everything about the "New Road" series.

My husband loves these pants! He commutes around the city on bike, so he appreciates the look. Can go straight into meetings, into restaurants, or anywhere else without changing pants. He says they're very comfortable for riding. They move with his body better than jeans (which he used to ride in). He wants another pair in a different color.
