    Contact Goggles

Packing a breakthrough lens-swap system, the Giro Contact Goggle with Bonus Lens instantly adapts to the rapidly changing weather and light conditions in the mountains. Fast, accurate, and secure, the SnapShot lens interchange works by pressing a shutter button down for quick lens removal, then self-locating magnets and a self-locking mechanism ensure solid attachment of the new lens.

By shaving down the frame's rim and adding frameless zones, Giro's Expansion View Technology optimizes the massive spherical lens by Zeiss for one of the best peripheral visions available. Triple-layer foam ensures plush comfort and a face-conforming fit with its micro-fleece facing. Every lens filters out 100% of the harmful UV-rays you're bombarded with at higher altitudes and offers an anti-fog coating for condensation-free clarity. And to ensure compatibility with most brain buckets, you'll find every Contact Goggle fits seamlessly with all Giro helmets, as well as many popular brands on the market.

    Great goggles!!!

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

They fit perfectly with my terra helmet and fit great to my face. It's super easy to change out the lenses. I have not had any problems with these goggles, they are great!

    Best of the Best

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Effortless and super fast lens change thanks to magnets. It takes longer to pull my back-up lens out of it’s case than it does to put it on the goggle frame! Tons of peripheral vision and super comfortable on my face. Syncs up seamlessly with my Giro Ledge helmet leaving zero dreaded Gaper Gap. I've had more garage sales wearing these than I'd like to admit and both the magnetic lens and the frame stayed put. A high end goggle that doesn't disappoint.

    Best all around google

No matter the conditions I could always see. The sunny day lense is better then most other companies cloudy day lense. The lense is very easy to change out. The frame feels solid and not cheap. The strap doesn’t stretch and stays right where you want it. The goggles also fit perfectly inside my giro range helmet

    Great goggle

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

The Contact goggle is one of my favorite goggles. Switching lenses has never been easier, easy to pop on and off! I’ve taken my fair share of crashes in these and haven’t lost the lenses. I don’t have to run inside and spend time switching out my lenses and miss that one extra lap of powder skiing either. Super easy to switch out on the lift if you’re carrying an extra lense. The view through the vivid lenses is wide and clear with a great hue. These goggles fit my head great in a variety of helmet styles and don’t create any gaps. They do fit a little big on the face depending on your size, but Im a smaller gal, and liked the bigger style. Highly recommend this goggle!

    I love them

I competed all last season with these puppies and they never fogged and were great in the flat light!!! Come with two great lenses ready to battle. The light lens was perfect for night riding at Brighton Resort. The other thing I really loved is was how soft the pads are on my face!!

    Awesome Goggle With Great Fit

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

This goggle was perfect for me for 100+ days last season. The two lenses that it comes with keep you prepared for any type of weather and they never fog up and ruin my day like other goggles have in the past! I would highly recommend.

    Best Goggle out there

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

This past winter I wore the Giro contact goggles every day. This is the best goggle I've ever owned from the wide field of view to anti fog coating, optics by ZIESS and much more. These goggles come ready to go with two lenses one for sunny days and another for the POW days. They are a very good fitting google and also very durable. I'm about to order another pair for the coming winter. I completely recommend purchasing these goggles.

    Best googles I've owned

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

When I first got these googles, I was a little nervous that the lens would pop out. After many uses and crashes, never has happened. The ease of lens changing is so awesome not to mention if you get some snow inside your googles on the lift ride, they are super easy to pop the lens off and clean. The way these fit with the helmet is super slick...no gaper gap whatsoever, lending to no wind getting in either. Many different colors to go with all your looks too ;) ~Stergy

Great fit & built to last!

I have a smaller face so buying mens goggles can be a hassle. These have a great fit, they look sick paired with almost any helmet (regardless of brand) and after a few years of putting them through the ringer the'yre still in good shape!

    Loved them!

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Great goggles all around! I own 5 different pairs from different companies and would choose these goggles everytime!

    Stay away!

Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Low light lense coating scratched off before even using them. Giro customer support was absolutely zero help, with what is clearly a defective product. Will not be buying any goggles from this company in the future.

Other reviews are true - Wasted $$$

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

Fog horror stories here are true. Really sad because I went all in on Giro with the helmet too. Giro warranty people could care less. "Sorry but we can't help you." Avoid!

1 of 2 lenses failed the 3rd day

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

During a recent foggy day, I switched to the Vivid Infrared lenses to see how they worked under poor lighting conditions. I couldn't see a thing, and wondered what could be going on. The lens fogged between the 2 lens panels so badly that it was hard to see a few feet in front, and with the fog and snow, I had to wear the goggles or get pelted with snow. This was an expensive, high end goggle, now I have returned and are awaiting replacement - good think that I kept my trusty Smith's to go back to.

    Worst Goggle Ever Made

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

I received these goggles in an on-line giveaway, and really wanted to like them. The magnetic interchange system is really cool and worked well, and the optics of the lens is very sharp. The downside, and the thing that actually makes these goggles dangerous, is the fact that they fog constantly and never were able to clear when I got moving. I used them for 3 days on a trip to Japan, and finally gave up and used my Smiths the last day we were there. I've used Smith and Carrera for years and have never experienced goggle fog this bad. These things even fogged on a blue bird day. Had I paid for these, I would have returned them and grabbed a pair of Smiths instead. Don't waste your money on these, and just buy a quality goggle that works correctly instead.

Have been using them for the past five trips in Japan, done mostly off piste snowshoeing, splitboard, catskiing, but haven’t had fogging problems. They have fogged up when my mask was under the google, blowing moist air into the google; have seen a little fogging under heavy exertion when the ventilation wasn’t working (top vents clogged with snow), but they usually clear up. Haven’t had the problems you’ve encountered...

Totally Agree. Worst Goggles Ever Made. Nothing could be more true, especially considering the price. Buyer Beware.

I've used these for several seasons now, and love them - and I have never had a problem with them fogging, Are you tucking a face mask in to the goggles or do you tend to ski with a face mask pulled right up over your nose? I can't see how they would fog up otherwise...

I need to replace both lenses for my contact frames.

Kevin, Sorry to say we are sold out for the season! We might have more coming in this fall! so stay posted! all the best,
