A dream for an ultra-low volume foot
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Normally wear size 7 - size 39 is perfect.
I have a narrow foot, low volume, super low vertical and this is the best fit in a shoe I have ever found. Over the last 3 years, I have tried on at least 25 different shoes and this is the first one that even came close to fitting properly. I love the laceups!
I commute 25 miles round trip each day in these and they feel great. The lace up allows me to create a perfect fit around my foot allowing me to get more connection with the pedal throughout the stroke.
Took a bit (and a fall) to get the hang of clicking into the spd pedals, but gradually it has become much easier - there's very little/no obvious clicking sound or feeling when I clip on to the pedal.
My previous shoes were mountain bike /spd pedals and I was swimming - this is a huge leap forward for me. Also have rec'd many compliments on the look of the shoes - and could walk a short distance in them comfortably.
I like the look because I am always afraid of looking like a gearhead who has the look for the sake of the look, but has no game. You know what I mean?
Anyway, highly recommend for an ultra-low volume foot of a commuter.
