Thermosquare Winter Hat
Just because it's winter and cold enough for a warm cap doesn't mean that it's not sunny enough for a cap with a bill. Though it is not impossible to double up on caps -- wear a summer cap under your winter beanie -- who wants to do that and bulk-up under your helmet. With the Giordana Thermosquare Winter Cap you get the best of both worlds; it's warm, super comfortable, and keeps the sun out of your eyes.
Giordana uses their ThermoSquare material, which is a high performance microfiber. It has a brushed inner surface that feels luxurious against the skin, but most importantly allows for the necessary warmth and moisture management. The ThermoSquare fabric keeps you warm by wicking perspiration away from the head to the outer surface of the fabric. That way the moisture can escape without cooling you off along the way.
The hat comes with protective ear flaps that can be worn down to protect your ears from a howling North wind, but when you get a touch too warm they can be turned back up easily. The ear flaps are also made from the ThermoSquare fabric. Since the cap is more wind-resistant than wind-proof, your head will be able to breathe and let off the extra steam that will prevent you from over-heating half way through your ride.
The Giordana Thermosquare Winter Cap comes in one size that fits most. It is Black with a handsomely embroidered Giordana logo at the forehead.

brim is tiny
I like this hat, but the brim isn't nearly as useful for sun protection as expected... it's on the small side.

One fits all?
I tried this baby on, and while it fit on my head, I wouldn't say it was a great fit. Not too tight, but certainly not right.

One size does not fit all.
I have a 59cm head, not really on the huge side of the scale. This hat fit my head like a condom, way to tight. They must be designing these to be used under the helmet so they fit like a toupee. I expect more from Giordania......

I like it
My family thinks I look like a dufe, but I like it. When the wind blows cold, and the sun is low, this suits, and is so, so right. Made in Italy.

Nice and comfy
Very nice. I find this a bit more comfortable than the skullcaps I've been wearing.

Gotta have this one
The gift that never stops giving, for those pedaling in the never ending winter of the northern states. Cap fits easily under the helmet, flaps cover the ears or lift for cooling, and the brim repells the grapple or sloosh. Wicks quickly to stay dry while retaining the warmth. Functional style for the ride and follow up cafe run.
