Runs quite short

I did not use since the were way too short. Bought a Large. 6'0", 34" inseam and these ended mid-leg and below the thick part of my thigh. There is no way these would stay in place. I've used Capo, PI, and Assos. These all reach far up the thigh and provide a nice overlap for two layers over the thigh muscles.

Very warm and water resistant. Kept me comfortable down to well below 30 F. While not "water proof", they did bead water through light rain. The only complaint is the rubber/elastic band at the top of the leg warmers. I suppose these bands are designed to keep them from slipping down your legs. However, when I've worn them under my bib shorts* for rides over 2 hours, the elastic/rubber ring rubbed through the top layer of my skin. Not the end of the world, but an ongoing irritation on long rides. *Note: When riding alone, I wore the leg warmers over my bib shorts and there was no skin irritation. I've been told by more seasoned cyclists, that I'm supposed to wear them under my bib shorts lest I look even more like a Fred. Therefore, it's my vanity/lack of resistance to peer pressure that are perhaps the root of the problem... If I had to choose again, I'd look for a set of leg warmers with a different mechanism to hold them in place.

If I wore these and two pairs of shorts I'd probably be good down to around 20 degrees. These are so thick and warm and fit me perfectly, so there is very little wind penetration, even at 40+ MPH. Giordana is my go-to because their prices are slightly more reasonable, fit is generally fantastic for the slightly longer/leaner body type, and they use great quality fabric.

I am a huge Giordana fan after switching from Castelli last year. I recommend most Gio kit but for some reason their warmers are really a cut above everyone else. These are actually warm in the 30-40 degree range but I have used them as low as 28 and was fine. They're comfortable, always stay put and have a nice understated style.

Giordana equals High Quality
You get what you pay for. These are not cheap but they are a high quality leg warmer. I purchased a L and they fit race tight. Leg measures 16 inches at the calf, 15.5 inches at the knee and 23 inches at the upper thigh. Size accordingly.

This is tough one. My guess -- and it really is a guess -- is that probably the large would work for you. I'm assuming that you don't have particularly skinny legs, that you probably will need to pull these up a little higher on your thighs to get the knee articulation in the right spot, and that they will be "typically tight" in their sizing. It's a total guess though.
